Additional Notes

Admit it. Hamburgers cooked in the pan are an abomination. They taste funny, they collect that fatty gray gunk. They don’t even begin to compare to a burger from a grill. Turkey burgers, however, are another story. The great thing is they readily take on any flavours you add to them, infinitely more versatile than beef. The key to cooking in the pan is the addition of a little cheese, which when melted and cooked, crisps up in just the way you want, while the addition of a little veggie keeps the meat succulent and juicy even when cooked all the way through.
