A Trifle Gone Mad
Ingredients
2 9x9 chocolate cakes
1 large tub cool whip
1 bag Skor toffee bar pieces
1 jar maraschino cherries
2 boxes instant chocolate pudding
1 cup kahlua
A doubled 3 layer dessert that's rich and tasty. A layer of chocolate cake drizzled in Kahlua, a layer of chocolate pudding, a layer of Cool Whip and piece
Directions
Bake chocolate cakes according to directions on box (or make them from scratch it's up to you).
Let cakes cool and rip them into approx 2cm x 2cm pieces.
Place half cake pieces in bottom of a rather large bowl, drizzle with 1/2 of the Kahlua.
Make pudding according to directions. Cover cake pieces liberally with 1 box pudding.
Cover pudding layer with 1/2 of cool whip.
Sprinkle half Skor pieces on cool whip.
Add 1/2 jar cherries in middle (optional).
Repeat entire process with remaining ingredients.
Additional Notes
This is a very quick and easy dessert sure to be a hit with everyone. You can use 1/2 the recipe for less guests and have great results. Plus, it's utterly, utterly sinful! I've been making this since I was 12 years old so it's EXTREMELY easy and soooooo good!
