Teriyaki Beef Sushi Roll with Seaweed
This dish can be used in a packed lunch as it does not create mess. With its great taste, this dish will be a kid and adult favorite.
Ingredients
- 5 oz beef, minced
- 1 1/2 bowl of cooked rice
- 2-3 seaweed leaves (large size, unsalted)
- 6 tbsp. teriyaki sauce
- 1 tsp. sesame seeds
- 1 tsp. garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
Directions
- Mix garlic and pepper with the meat and set it aside for about 20 minutes.
- Cook teriyaki sauce in a heated pan until about only half is left.
- Add meat and cook.
- Stir frequently and cook until no teriyaki sauce is left (sauce should all be absorbed by the meat).
- Mix sesame oil and salt to the rice.
- Have rice on top of seaweed and then add the cooked meat.
- Roll the seaweed to make it into a nice smooth roll as shown in the below picture.
- Put sesame oil and sesame seeds on top of the seaweed roll. There should be about two rolls.
Additional Notes
Sesame seeds are optional as their use is more of a decoration.
