Out of this World Sauteed Garlic Shrimp
This is a somewhat rich food if you are not used to shellfish. It goes wonderful with a bed of rice pilaf. Very tasty and Easy!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. peeled & deveined raw shrimp
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 2 or 3 cloves garlic (minced) (to taste)
- 1 clove garlic chopped
- 1 1/4 tsp Italian Season (herb kind)
Directions
- Melt 1/2 stick butter and all garlic in frying pan on MED. heat.
- When butter begins to boil, remove from heat.
- Add shrimp and other 1/2 stick butter.
- Cook until butter melts (on LOW).
- Add Italian Season. Continue to cook on MED - HIGH heat until shrimp is cooked thoroughly. (tails curl and shrimp get a white and pinkish color) 10 - 20 min. depending on size of shrimp
Additional Notes
It is very tasty and can be paired with almost any side dish. Potatoes, rice, any veggie, on salad, pasta, ANYTHING! I make this a lot because it is pretty quick and easy (especially if you buy the already peeled and deveined shrimp.
