Traditional Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

1 lb Laura's extra-lean ground beef
1 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1/3 cup nonfat chicken broth
1 1/2 cups low-fat cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup nonfat beef broth
10-oz pkg frozen green peas, thawed
4-oz can mushroom pieces, drained, and chopped.
8-oz yolk free egg noodles, cooked and drained
3/4 cup nonfat sour cream

This is a traditional beef stroganoff recipe that is easy to make, and is equally delicious.

Directions

Spray large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef; sprinkle with onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper.
Cook, stirring frequently, until meat is browned, 4 to 5 minutes.
Add chicken broth and cook 3 to 4 minutes, until liquid has evaporated. Stir in mushroom soup and beef broth; cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture begins to thicken.
Add peas, chopped mushrooms, and cooked noodles; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is blended and heated through.
Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
Serve immediately.
