Potato and Ham Rostli
Children will love it because of the fried potatoes and the ham in it. Be sure there will be no leftovers!
Directions
Peel and grate the potatoes or cut them in very small pieces
Cut the ham slices in stripes
Chop the cheese in small pieces
Heat the butter in a frying pan
Add the grated potatoes and fry for about 5 minutes or until they are crisp
Add the ham and cook for a couple of minutes
Add the eggs and stir well all the ingredients
Add the cheese, stir very well and cook until it melts
Remove from stove, cover and rest for a couple of minutes before serving

Röstli is a typical Swiss recipe. I tasted it first time in a restaurant in Luzern and of course I had to try to make it at home. This is then my version. It’s a very tasty, rather caloric recipe, mostly suitable for gray autumn dinners.
