Pepperoni Pocket Lunchable
If you like hot pockets but do not want to pay the price, here is a quick, inexpensive way to get the same result.
Directions
Prepare the pizza crust according to the package in a small mixing bowl
Roll the dough out using flour to about 1/2 inch thick
Place the rolled dough on a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray
Line half of the dough with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese
Starting on the side that the meat and cheese is on, begin rolling the dough
Pinch the ends and seam closed
Place in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown
3/4 of the way through the baking, take a stick of butter and coat the roll to prevent drying
Sprinkle top with mozzarella while hot
Serve whole or cut into slices to serve
Additional Notes
Be sure the dough is not too thin or your cheese will permeate it and burn. This great for the freezer and pull out at a later time.
