Carey's Homemade Pecan Pie

(Crust)

1/4 cup butter

3 ounces cream cheese

1 cup flour

(Filling)

2 eggs

1 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup pecans

This is sweet treat for any occasion. This recipe makes two pies, divide the dough and filling when making the pies.

(Crust)

Mix 1/4 cup of butter, 3 ounces of cream cheese, 1 cup flour

Press into a pie plate very thinly, but consistently

(Filling)

Beat two eggs with a fork, add 1 cup brown sugar, 1 tbsp butter, 1 tsp vanilla

Finely chop 1 cup pecans and add to filling mixture

Spoon filling into pie plate on top of crust

Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 35 minutes

Allow the pie to completely cool before serving
