Poppy Seed Cheese Pastries
This is an modernized version of a popular Greek appetizer. These salty pastries look and taste great, and can be made in just minutes.
Directions
Thaw pastry sheets at room temperature 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Mix cheese, 2 eggs, semolina and salt.
Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll pastry sheet into 12" square and cut it into 16 squares.
Place little squares in a muffin pan. Add 1 tbsp. cheese mixture in center of each square.
Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle poppy seed.
Bake 25 minutes or until are golden.
