Tasty Chicken Livers
Have you ever wondered what to do with chicken livers? Here's a recipe that gives you that answer.
Directions
Open the package of chicken livers and drain as much excess liquid as you can.
Place the livers on a cutting board. Cut the larger livers into 2 or 3 pieces.
In a medium fry or saute pan, on a medium-high heat, melt the butter and add the garlic.
When the butter is melted and infused with the essence of the garlic, add the livers and salt to taste.
Cook the livers for 15 minutes until all the pink is gone and the outside of the livers are crusty brown. Be sure to stir regularly so that the livers don't burn.
Remove from the heat and serve.
Additional Notes
Don't try to save any livers that are left over. They tend to go bad quickly. Give your dog or cat a treat and let them have any leftovers.
