Creamy Custardy Lemon Bars
These creamy custardy lemon bars are always a holiday favorite! Give them a try and you'll be convinced.
Directions
Sift together 2 cups flour and confectioners sugar.
Cut in butter until mixture clings together.
Press this mixture into a 13 x 9" pan.
Bake at 350 F for 20-25 minutes.
While this is baking, beat eggs and add sugar, lemon juice, and lemon peel.
Sift together the 1/4 cup flour and baking powder; stir into egg mixture.
Pour liquid mixture over baked crust.
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Cool and cut into squares.
