Beefy Baked Italian Delight

1 lb ground beef

1 onion, chopped

1 clove garlic, chopped

2 15 oz cans tomato sauce

1 14 oz can sweet corn

1 tsp sugar

1/2 cup uncooked macaroni

4-8 oz shredded cheddar cheese

My dad was given this recipe when he was in the Navy and stationed in Iceland. My mom still makes it.

Brown ground beef, onion, and garlic

Add tomato sauce, corn, sugar and small amount of water with salt and pepper to taste

Simmer for 10-15 minutes

Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain

Combine macaroni with meat sauce in a casserole dish

Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees
