Ultimate Bacon Burgers

Ingredients

1/2 pound ground beef, 80% lean
1/2 pound ground pork
1/4 pound ground bacon
1 teaspoon salt
freshly ground pepper to taste
8 slices bacon, cooked
4 hamburger rolls
lettuce, tomato, onion, etc... to garnish

Directions

Combine the ground meats with the salt and pepper. Shape into patties.
Grill to desired doneness.
Garnish and serve immediately.

Additional Notes

If you’ve got the time and you’ve got the grinder, there’s only one way to make a real bacon burger. Not only is the flavour mind blowing, the succulence these burgers gain from the extra fat is incomparable. The addition of ground pork bridges the gap between the two meats.
