Cauliflower Puree with Cumin
Ingredients
1 pound cauliflower florets
2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons cream, plus more as needed
1 1/2 tablespoons ground cumin
salt & pepper to taste
An exceptional alternative to mashed potatoes that offers as much flavour as it does possibility.
Directions
Place cauliflower in a large pot, cover with water, and boil over medium-high heat until soft and thoroughly cooked, 15-20 minutes.
Drain cauliflower. Place in a blender or food processor along with remaining ingredients and puree until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve immediately.
