Carey's Carmelized Asparagus
I have never been able to eat plain asparagus. This is sure to be a winner with kids.
Directions
In a large frying pan, melt and mix the brown sugar, margarine, mint flakes, pepper, honey
Once melted, place the asparagus in the frying pan coating well
Continue to coat and roll the asparagus for 3-4 minutes at medium heat
Cook just enough that the asparagus is barely soft
Pour excess carmel sauce over the asparagus to serve
Additional Notes
Be careful not to over cook the asparagus as is will become mushy very quickly.
